Reflections on 2005

In 2005, I have given the following talks to share my excitement about SQL Server 2005 with fellow developers, as well as students.

- Clustering in SQL Server 2005 (Joint talk for Singapore .Net user group (SGDN) and SQL Server User group members)

- SQL Server Express for Temasek Poly students during the launch of the Express Editions
- Unfortunately, data mining was not part of SQL Server Express

- Theory and Practicals of Association Rule Mining (Community launch of VS2005/SQL Server 2005)

Besides SQL Server 2005, another technology that got me pretty excited was the announcement of Windows Workflow Foundation during PDC 2005. I dabbled with it, and share this cool WF technology with fellow developers at SGDN user group meeting in Nov 2005. Even got the K2.Net folks down to showcase BlackPearl, the next generation K2.Net tools that leverages WF.

Hope to be able to do better this year and share more aspects of SQL Server 2005 with fellow friends...
