Harnessing the power of Predictive Modeling using Naive Bayes Algorithm
In this talk, we will show how we can make use of the Naive Bayes algorithm provided by Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS) for use in predictive modeling. We will first get everyone up to speed with basic probability theory, and use this to jumpstart everyone's understanding of the Naive Bayes algorithm. Next, we will demonstrate how to build a data mining model based on Naive Bayes, and use this in a ASP.Net application.
