Transform Data into Forecasts! - Using Microsoft Time Series Algorithm

The Microsoft Time Series algorithm allows users to analyze time series data and transform the data into powerful business forecasts. In this talk, Wee Hyong will first bootstrap users with the basic theory behind analyzing time series data, and introduce the Microsoft Time Series algorithm.

He will also explain how AutoRegressive Tree models (ART models) are used within the Microsoft Time Series algorithms to perform effective time-series analysis. He will then demonstrate how SQL Server 2005 can be used to build time series data mining models, and deliver value-added report to business users
